By accessing and using Parley, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Parley is a golf tee time aggregation and social booking platform that helps you:
- Search and compare tee times from multiple golf courses
- Set up automated Scout alerts for tee time availability
- Create or join lobbies and squads to play with other golfers
- Track achievements through our missions system
Parley is currently in beta and is invite-only. Features and availability may change.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Honor tee time bookings you make through the platform
- Treat other users with respect in lobbies and squads
- Not abuse or overload the Scout system with excessive requests
- Not attempt to manipulate mission or achievement systems
- Comply with golf course policies and etiquette
4. Booking and Payments
When you book tee times through Parley:
- You will be directed to the golf course's booking system
- Parley does not charge booking fees
- Payment is handled directly by the golf course
- Cancellation and refund policies are set by the golf course
- Parley is not responsible for course pricing, availability, or booking issues
5. Beta Access and Availability
Parley is currently in beta testing. We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
- Limit the number of users or Scout requests
- Experience downtime or service interruptions
- Change pricing or introduce fees in the future
6. User Content and Conduct
You retain ownership of content you post (profile bio, lobby messages, etc.), but grant Parley a license to display it within the platform. You agree not to:
- Post offensive, harassing, or inappropriate content
- Impersonate others or create fake accounts
- Attempt to scrape or reverse engineer the service
- Use automated systems to abuse the platform
7. Intellectual Property
The Parley name, logo, design, and software are owned by Parley and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without permission.
8. Disclaimers
Parley is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Tee time availability or accuracy of pricing information
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Compatibility with all devices or browsers
- Successful booking outcomes
9. Limitation of Liability
Parley and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed tee times, booking errors, or disputes with other users.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, abuse of the service, or any other reason at our discretion.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Parley after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
